Terms of Use
These terms apply when you download or play Final Stand: Heart of the Grove ("the game"). By playing, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.
1. The game and your account
The game is free to play. You play with an anonymous account created automatically, which you may link to a Unity Player Account. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian where your local law requires it.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the game for your own non-commercial entertainment. The game, its characters, art, music and code belong to Incognito Generation and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or distribute the game except as allowed by law.
3. Virtual currency and items
- Grove Marks are earned by playing. Amber can be earned in limited amounts or bought with real money.
- Virtual currency and items (heroes, emotes, banners, frames and other cosmetics) are a limited licence to use content in the game. They have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be sold, traded or transferred outside the game.
- Purchases give cosmetic or convenience content. They do not sell gameplay power.
- Prices are shown in the game and in your app store before you buy. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store, Google Play or Steam under their terms.
- Refunds are handled by the store you bought from under its refund policy. If a purchase is refunded or charged back, we may remove the matching currency or items; if already spent, your Amber balance may become negative until it is covered.
- We may change prices, items and in-game offers. Content you have already unlocked stays yours unless removed under section 7, or unless the game is discontinued (section 9).
4. Warden's Pact subscription
- Warden's Pact is an auto-renewing monthly subscription. It is billed by your app store at the price shown when you subscribe and renews automatically each month until you cancel.
- Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period. Manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the game does not cancel the subscription.
- Benefits (daily Amber, bonus Grove Marks, monthly exclusive cosmetics and other listed perks) apply only while the subscription is active. Daily Amber must be claimed in the game on each day.
- Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase.
5. Online play and conduct
When playing online, using chat, voice chat, friends or parties, you agree not to:
- harass, threaten, abuse or discriminate against other players, or share hateful, sexual or illegal content;
- cheat, exploit bugs, use bots, modified clients or third-party tools to gain an advantage, or tamper with purchases or currency;
- impersonate others or use offensive nicknames;
- interfere with our servers or other players' games.
Other players' messages and voice are their own; we are not responsible for them, but you can mute or block players at any time and report abuse to us.
6. Your content
Your nickname and messages you send in the game may be shown to other players. You grant us permission to display and use them to operate the game.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts, remove items or reset progress that breaks these terms (including items obtained by cheating, exploits or fraud). You may stop playing and delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account.
8. Changes and availability
We update the game regularly and may change, add or remove features and content. Online features depend on third-party services and may be interrupted. We will change the effective date above when we update these terms; continuing to play after changes means you accept them.
9. Discontinuing the game
If we shut down the game or its online services, we will try to give reasonable notice in the game. Virtual currency and items may stop being usable when the service ends, except where your local law requires otherwise.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent allowed by law. To the extent allowed by law, Incognito Generation is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
11. App store terms
If you downloaded the game from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the game. Google Play and Steam terms apply to purchases made through them.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the consumer protection laws of your country of residence give you rights that cannot be waived.
